The Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon is excited to announce the partnership with I Am Seen, to host its Annual Pregnancy Loss Remembrance. This night is designed to support and encourage men, women and families who have lost a baby due to miscarriage, abortion, still-birth, premature labor or for any other reason. We want those who have experienced the loss of a child to know they are not alone.“I had a miscarriage at two and a half months along. I felt devastated and alone. I didn’t know who could relate with me, and I didn’t know where to go to for support, so I kept silent. Most people that have had an infant loss don’t openly talk about it. Yet in this silent grief, there are people all around you with stories,” said Alissa Cowan, founder of I Am Seen.
On this special evening we will bring a voice to the silent grief, by remembering our babies together. The Pregnancy Resource Center is looking forward to the opportunity to give back to our community and to raise awareness of Pregnancy and Infant Loss throughout Central Oregon. If you have experienced any type of pregnancy loss, we invite you to come and be Seen.

A Hearts of Hope class provides a safe place for women to have the opportunity to express their grief, pain, and emotion with other women who have experienced abortion.
During each meeting we will listen to each other’s stories, read from God’s Word, pray and learn to apply Scriptures for healing, forgiveness, and peace in Jesus Christ. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we believe that God’s Holy Word, the Bible, provides all the instruction and counseling we need for faith, forgiveness, and healing through the power of His Holy Spirit.
The book “Living in His Forgiveness” by Sandy Day will also be used to read aloud some encouraging testimonies of women who found God’s grace, healing, and forgiveness and to learn how to apply Scripture to our lives.

ABOUT I AM SEEN
After losing my baby, Micah, I struggled with feeling alone, finding that grief comes in waves. It’s not just over, after a year or two, you will always remember your baby, as part of you. I realized that it is okay to feel sad about your baby and grieve the loss. Now five years later, we are joining with the Pregnancy Resource Center to provide a place to remember your baby, to validate the hard work you have done, and to be part of a community that can relate. I Am Seen provides Care Boxes for women who have just experienced the loss of their child, to remind them to take care of themselves, in their grieving. We also have an online Support Group at facebook.com/SeenFamily
